Music: The Dollyrots

New obsession.

Music: Lusine

Maybe, I'm late to the game with these guys, but this is the most gorgeous sound I've had in a good long while. It so reminded me of dawn in the mountains. Have you ever seen the sun come up while in the Rockies? You should.

Music: Youth Group

A leetle, leetle formulaic.. but not so much so that we miss the beauty of this song... This is still easily the most gorgeous version of "Forever Young" out there now.

Music: Bruiser Charles

My father and I were strolling through Central Park, when we heard them playing. My father being a musician, naturally took off towards the source of the song. After we climbed a rock, here were two lads ( I never use this word, but when you see them, you'll see how it fits) strumming their guitars, singing their hearts out.

Dad requested "Michelle" by the Beatles, they enthusiastically complied and I was smitten and filled with joy. That's what they do -- radiate joy. I was joy-smitten. I hope you are joy-smitten with them too!

Please see more of them at bruisercharles.com and if you're in NYC, try to find them in Central Park! Get joy-smitten!

Check Out: Dollar Van Demos

Amazing clips, amazing talent. When I see things like this, I don't freak out so much about being in Brooklyn\...

Laughed at the "looky looky, she Walkin' Fortune Cookie"... I really liked these two! I love how the lead puts the microphone in front of her violin playing sister, and the sister sort of goes along with it. They look fabulous and her hair is wonderful.

And Joya -- okay, this young lady...she's all over! Speaking french, discussing medulla oblongatas, of course, she will beat you to Cambridge or Yale. Love her.

And the best? The reactions of the people getting on the van.
